Our Building Safety Act Principal Designers have developed robust processes for compliance with the act coordinated in conjunction with the RIBA plan of works. We will work closely with designers, contractors, clients and statutory authorities to make sure that design compliance is maintained from the outset. Through our compliance tracker we will track the design against building regulation standards through each component of the design process and make sure that the building standards are adhered to in the design which facilitates faster Building Control plan check approvals. We seamlessly transfer these standards and monitoring and evidence gathering using the Golden Thread process throughout the scheme to make sure that compliance is not just achieved but can be fully evidenced to Building Control, so that declarations and certificates are issued in a timely manner.

We have extensive experience of working with Local Building Control Authorities and Private Building Control Inspectors and understand early engagement, establishment of timelines and information exchange is critical to make sure that the Building Safety Act 2022 is compiled and that the building works are constructed in accordance with Building Regulations standards.
